No, the solution lớn the problem seems khổng lồ me not easy. There is no one to contact who could help with something. At least, such contacts are not known to me. Before closing, Photodex promised that the licenses would remain valid in the future (the servers responsible for validation will work for an unlimited time).

I fear this is the end. Time to lớn start looking at PTE AV Studio, I think.I"ve used Proshow for 15 years and the ability to lớn create & distribute slideshows is critical to lớn my business (at least when we are not in lockdown!). This either needs lớn be fixed quickly or I"ll have lớn jump ship. I foolishly believed that they would keep the registration servers live - but I"m starting khổng lồ think that was just wishful thinking - after all, no company, no one khổng lồ look after them.Ian.

It is also being discussed on Facebook here:https://www.facebook.com/groups/466573844021880/Aparently the Photodex website & servers were finally shut down on 31st May. So much for the promise of "you will still be able khổng lồ use the software".
I finally could use ProShow after deleting the file proshow.phd in the install directory. It runs fine since 3 hours and after 4 or 5 reruns.

Hi Jean,Could you give the steps in more detail to get 9 to work again và does deleting this file effect your current show. I can not afford khổng lồ loose the virtual graduation I just put together! Thank you
This tệp tin is in the install directory of ProShow. After running ProShow again this tệp tin is automatically rebuilt.

Sorry, doesn"t work for me - it still starts up in evaluation mode and won"t let me enter my registration key.
Yea, Same problem here. I"ve been working on a large project for a client và went in khổng lồ render it last night và was told I was now using an evaluation copy and when I attempted lớn reload the software the registration key was flagged as invalid. I would have thought that the registration function would have been built into the software but when I saw that we needed khổng lồ be connected lớn the internet during registration I could see that it was a major issue. Essentially I"m out of business.
The good news is, the registration key has been restored today. It is necessary khổng lồ restart the computer (if this has not been done before), start ProShow & enter the registration key in the Help->Enter Registration.Paul
